I tried to sign up a week or 2 ago at the trac instance. It told me I
would get some confirmation url by mail, but it never tried contacting
my mailserver. So today I tried again, saying that 'my username' already

Has anyone tested if there are unintended side effects from running
multiple Thunderbird instances at the same time? I have a regular mail
which I would move over Tor soon. I also have some accounts that HAVE to
be over Tor all the time as they were carefuly created and used.

I don't know how to describe better than showing two examples. One is
from a regular FireFox session, where the tab bar is on the top line,
over the window title bar and TorBrowser where the tabs are on a second
line. Any idea how to fix this in TBB?

Since I was given conflicting information from Nick and Jake on this
topic, I've used the data source that had the most information in it

If you download from http, then there is nothing protecting you from
downloading modified, malware inserted binaries. HTTPS is providing
confidentiality and authentication. Of course you want to verify signatures
once you download from HTTPS not HTTP.
