Thank you for solving this issue. I tested with r29431 and it looks good.
The fact that the "Just noticed" stays on "won't fix" is not the end of the
world. :-)

ok, I can reproduce this now.
I tried several approaches to fix this, but none of them work.
Removing the LVS_EX_DOUBLEBUFFER style works though, but that's not what we
want (without that style, the list control flickers).
Having now spent 5 hours on this without success, I will leave this as
