Many thanks for all that info.
Yes I was going to do alot more research before changing anything on
the SB Touch but I just wanted to see that I could connect to it.
Regarding the two options, I have enabled them and the problem is
probably just the fact that I didn't enter root as the

Don't consider me an authoritative source on this, but my reading of the

Yeah, I can see your point. I currently use an SB3 to IR Blast to a DVD

any progress on the developments to enable IR Blaster for the Touch?
In fact, I'm waiting for this to move my SB3 to another room.
I now have a synched setup where the SB3 and Touch are standing next to
eachother, IR Blaster being the only reason for the SB3 to be there to
control my amp.

I have recently bough a SB Touch, but having had installed Classic SB3

I suppose I'm a bit outdated (in a big sense) :) but obviously the

SB Touch (it simply doesn't work), isn't it?
Please, if there is any kind

First, this makes it clear it is not a hardware problem.
Do you always get the right cover when you just browse through the

Well in the meantime, I've got some ideas, in a fact I would
experimentaly install this new version (7.5.1 or whatever...) on a
Windows part of a dual boot Mac Mini, while the lovely 7.2.1 will rest
on the main MacOS. Then I'll decide because I have a feeling that Touch

If your computer has a workgroup name other than WORKGROUP it will
probably not let you connect. In either the windows explorer address

For me that would be:

Note those are back slashes.
You can get the IP address
