Hi all. I have just bought a Squeezebox Touch, and I would very much
like tot try the Hegel HD2, which is not asynchoneous. I can see that
one has succeeded (post no. 123). However, I can see that there have
been a lot of posting since then and I lost track. I have until now
done nothing else
I tried the the aplay -l as explained in the first post. It works
perfect, no pops at all.
Sorry for asking, but I got confused with the later posts, which
probably has been about asynschroneous dac's. I will check the sound,
but my experience with the Hegel is good when used from the computer.

ok - I got pops when I changed to serious music, no one from streaming
radio. So how if anyone could give me an idea about how to play with
the buffer size.

BTW... ...Vortexboxplayer. Cool. Never heard about it before.

No luck so far with the 7.7 install.
Plugin installed - EQ appears on web UI under Extras but nothing shows
on the Touch.
The install tips mention player settings Menu - I can't find that
anywhere.

I couldn't ever find anything under player settings menu either.
Looks like it doesn't work in 7.7.

maybe even 7.3.x or 7.4.x.

It works with all versions - but you need the tweaked version of
plugin.pm... see here:

Also you are best controlling it with iPeng if possible - the web UI is
broken on many peoples systems - not sure about the player UI's -

My Touch no longer responds to using the alpha letters for jumping to a
new position in menu's. If I'm in artists for example and want to hit j
to jump to the j artists, nothing happens. This function works with the
Touch remote on my SB3 and Boom, as do my older remotes, so it seems
like it's
