Now I'm getting no sound at all on 24/192 files and interface is still
buggy.

Last night I was running EDO+TT3.0+SBGK(S/PDIF) under 7.7.2. Everything
worked fine except I'm getting freeze-ups when scrolling through my
music folder. I also wasn't sure about the screen-off commands TT3.0 vs
EDO. I was getti

Looking at the Touch booklet, the USB port appears to be for input only.
Today I bought a Netgear WIFI Extender with 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n
and 4 ethernet connections. The SBT with only 802.11g gave stuttering
when I played 192khz files. By connecting the Netgear WIFI extender to
my WIFI network and then connected it to the SBT by ethernet, I created
a 802.11n conn

It's intended to do the same as screenoff in Toolbox + also disable
screen updates within squeezeplay, reducing the cpu load when the screen

This is what the DACs are capable of with 809 "internal" signals and
HDMI. It does not necessarily mean it will accept 192/24 signals via
S/PDIF though, unfortunately.

Hi folks.
Havn't been around for a while. Just got back to the Touch (after
running my iPad as player for a while)
Got a question. Not sure if it's a known or my problem. I didn't scan
the last 60 pages of this thread.
I have LMS 7.7.2 under Linux running and EDO installed. Somehow not any

No, I have not turned on the firewall. I have tryied to turn it off.
What is the problem then?
Why can I scroll trough the music collection on the Squeezebox Touch,
but get an error when I try to play a number?
All music is standard MP3, copyed from a windows computer to the Ubuntu
computer.

Now it works!
EDO uninstall + Touch reset + EDO install + kernel update -> ok
Very good sound with Touch EDO -> WaveIO USB-I2S -> Gamma 2 Dac (tweak:
direct I2S input, Lampizator tube output stage) -> First Watt F5 amp
Best sound I've heard at home until now.
Thank you very much for all the work
Has anybody tried the new Hiface 2 from the USB output of the Squeezebox
Touch into a dac and, if so, how does it sound? Is it an improvement on
the coax or optical out?
Thanks
