It's a ground loop, and you can hear SMPS oscillation breaking through
it

EDO ver0.8 USB is working with TEAC UD-501 at 192/24.
I used kernel updater and selected kernel #12
teac corporation teac ud-501 at usb-fsl-ehci.0-1, high speed : usb

I have the same problem... revived an old Touch after awhile not using
it.
Not finding any way to re-enable the status bar at the bottom.
I.e. walking over to the Touch screen there is no way to pause the
music, or any power off button.
Can't find it under settings-screen- anywhere
