I've had a similar issue, but recently made a change and it's made a
difference: i switched from IPv4 to IPv6 on my router. if you have
access to your router settings, and this option is available, it might
be something to try.

I had the same issue when I updated this morning, using piCorePlayer.
Not sure what the actual fix was but I rebooted my router, then my
piCore box and it started working after everything came back up.

I was just prompted to update LMS to latest build (7.9.2 - 1578996832)
which I did and lost my Pandora application. What's with that? When I
click on Apps, it no longer shows Pandora but instead shows:
