Uninstalled and reinstalled Spotify. It is also not continuing to the
next track when one finishes. I uninstalled the Spotty app and
reinstalled it too and I have also tried the buffering option. None has
resolved the issue.

I keep having to press 'backwards' on Spotify to restart the track or I
just get minutes of silence using the Spotty app. Is there a popular fix
for this issue?

Thank you. Unfortunately, I am not quite 'technical' enough to grasp
that. I will follow your advice though but uninstall and reinstall LMS
with the correct settings. Thanks for trying to help.

That is what was happening.
Strangely, I rescanned my music and it only showed the album with single
tracks, not each one duplicated by the Spotify version.

I have one album in my entire collection that duplicates all of the
tracks and plays each track twice - a Spotify version and the lossless
version (AIFF). I am on LMS version 8.0.0.
If I drill in to to the album, I think I have identified an issue - it
is the only one that has an external ID.
I have an album that I am currently playing in entirety via bluetooth.
My SBT will only play the first second of each track and I have not come
across the problem before with any album. I have about 15,000 tracks,
all AIFF files and all play faultlessly apart from this one album. Does
