You're right, totally forgot that feature. I do use it myself, but only
for off-site players (PC at work, smartphone, ...) never even crossed
my mind somebody would turn it on in the LAN-environment :p

It does not need to be removed just don't syncronise playback with it .

You're trying to play 192kHz which is not supported on a Touch so LMS is
resampling/transcoding to a compatible format.
If you don't have necessary support utilities (e.g sox) to
transcode/resample or you may have disable some entries in FileTypes
leaving LMS with trancode to MP3 as the only
HD tracks yes but what file format *.wav *.flac *.aiff ? :)

Since you have non standard system - I suggest PM soundcheck for

hi all just wondered why under more info, bitrate i get 5279kbps VBR
(Converted to 320kbps MP3) on some 24bit files?
apppologies if this has been covered but i did a seach and did not get

It means that either there's a player that can't handle flac in your
system and synced to your touch, or you have some funky settings on
the File Types page, or something in the convert.conf file.
