I have a list of websites for podcast but unable to add it in Podcast
application as cant find the OPML link for it..Plz help me guide me..

Well, here is one other happy user (+family) very grateful for this fix.
We have been trying to get to the Radio4 Desert Island Discs Archive -
the otherwise wonderful iPlayer plugin is not applicable here. Tried
using my Mediafly account but could not find it there. Then tried the
BBC OPML feed

You can certainly play podcasts directly from the Touch. You need the
Podcasts app for that. Go to www.mysqueezebox.com, log in, and add the
app, under All Apps - Podcast services. You can add/modify/remove the
podcast feeds through that web site. However, you can add the app
itself to the main

There is a bug in the Squeezeplay playing some Podcast (at least the BBC
ones). It seems the touchtoPlay part is not working.
When you drill down through the menus levels down to an actual podcast
- the UI on the Touch (and I think other Squeezeplay) will not actually
play the podcast - just
So, it's actually a bug? Is it in 7.5 or is it new for 7.6?
Has it been reported? I would but I don't follow the steps on doing
that.

I'm pretty sure it is a bug but it needs to be better characterised.
It is a 7.6 one and I think something that may have happened in the
last few months.

I tested a few more non BBC podcast feeds and others work. So the
problem seems to be something specific to format of the BBC podcast
feed.

I added a RSS feed to a specific BBC series (Americana) - this plays
fine and lists all available episodes.

Yes - this is a OPML feed which aggregates all the BBC RSS podcast
feeds.

Americana is RSS format not OPML format.
The issue is not the correctness of the OPML format as handling of OPML
list of RSS for Squeezeplay by SBS is broken but handling of OPML of RSS
for Web and older players (e.g. SB3) is OK. The major change in 7.6 was
onebrowser which was the unification
So, are you definitely saying it IS a bug in 7.6 which wasn't in 7.5 ??

It is a bug in 7.6 because a user can access and play podcasts from Web
and older player (e.g.SB3, Boom) interface (although there is a small
bug with display of a blank line on the older player) but cannot play a
podcast from a Squeezplay interface.
In 7.5 (and 7.4) the bug was different - a

I feel like Baron Frankenstein - you didn't know about the podcast URL
until I told you. It can't have affected your life so much since it
has never worked.
Use BBC iPlayer plugin - it provides better access and better audio
quality.
The v. limited developer's time should directed at fixing
LOL - yes, I hesitated to mention that you had set this particular hare
running!
I agree with what you say - but it just BUGS me!

Could some kind person expllain how podcasts are supposed to work on the
Touch?
As far as I see the only way to get them to play is to go to the web ui
and select them there - the Touch then springs into life.
Is there no way o select and play from the Touch itself?
