No - I had originally selected that, and then unselected it. But, as someone above said, the issue turns out to be the SYNC between SqueezeServer and MYSB - on re-boot, the system seems to take the higher of the two settings. Reducing *both* to 70% (or whatever%) seems to work. AGB -- agbagb

It's most likely a problem with syncing with mysqueezebox.com, which has never worked anything close to reliably. Try disabling it and then see if the volume starts behaving. Go to Settings > mysqueezebox.com > mysqueezebox.com Integration and set it to 'disabled'. -- JJZolx --
