No need whatsoever to run LMS on a USB stick. If you only want to listen
to internet radio then you can simply connect the Touch to
mysqueezebox.com and choose your stations. Then switch back to LMS on
your pc when you want local music.
Or you could use the Touch's built-in version of LMS.

But why , for radio only you could just switch over to mysqueezebox.com

I was wondering if it was possible to run the server software from a
usb stick plugged into the Touch to listen to the internet radio. Have
it presently attached to NAS and PC for the server but there are times
when I dont want to leave these on but still want access to the radio.
