Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] SSH via cyberduck help
Many thanks, tried the SCP but no joy. I think a different ssh approach is the solution. mhardyman's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56598 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96100 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Squeeze Server Not Working
mherger wrote: First of all: you can always open the web UI in Safari: http://localhost:9000 What can I do? This is awful... I have to reload CD's Check OSX' console where you should see why it fails to start. -- Michael Hi Michael, Thank you for your reply. I do appreciate it. I don't think I explained the issue well enough. Squeeze Server is not starting at all. I cannot access http://localhost:9000 from Safari because the server is NOT running. Typically I have to start Squeeze server from the System Preferences tab and that Preference Pane never opens. The System Preferences pane NEVER reopens where I can select Start Server. I hope that is a little more clear. I launched OSX' Console and it reports the following to me: 8/20/12 4:21:19.820 PM launcher: posix_spawnattr_setbinpref_np failed I have no idea what the message means so I have even less a clue what to do with the error. Again Michael, I thank you for your reply and would appreciate any help that you could offer because I am totally clueless at this point. Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Inguz with Triodes 'Enhanced Digital Output' plugin
Hi Bob. Do you run LMS and Inguz on your NAS? Just curious as I would like to see if I could have the SB Touch fed with upsampled files from the server. Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Can you make Logitech Media Server upsample to 176/24 or 192/24?
I have no idea if Inguz may be made relevant for the purpose of making SB Touch export upsampled audio to my Metrum DAC. I would greatly appreciate an answer - Phil Leigh or Bob(ertuk) may be the persons that could answer this shortly and sweetly. Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] SSH via cyberduck help
Then either Cyberduck is at fault or your configuration. If you get in via ssh then you have clearly enabled the Touch's remote login feature. And the Touch definitely supports scp. For scp I use WinSCP and it throws 1-2 error messages up at login, but if I just click OK on the annoying error messages then I get in. So if you can get along with the command line, I would use ssh to start a terminal session and then use the scp command from there. But if you're doing something that needs scp with a gui, try something other than Cyberduck. aubuti's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2074 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96100 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch

It is all about digital room correction. Have you looked at SOX for upsampling with squeezeboxes... garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96035 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch

[SlimDevices: Touch] can you set duration of alarms?
I use the alarms to turn on the SBT as my alarm clock every morning. I set it to turn on a radio station rather than alarm sound. Is there any way to get it to turn itself off say after 2 hours? Perhaps integrate the sleep function? Wishful thinking: can I get it to change stations at pre-determined times? dood's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56698 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96117 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] can you set duration of alarms?
Not sure about the answer to the first question, but to change stations at a predetermined time you could set another alarm, with the different station as the alarm. aubuti's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2074 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96117 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch

Indeed, I hadn't thought of that. Now if by setting another alarm, the first one is cancelled, then theoretically to turn off I could set an alarm with a beep at the time that I want the SB turned off. Will give it a try. dood's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56698 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96117 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
