Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Font Replacer in 2017--please help
It is confirmed. Font Replacer installed and works! Well, I did lost the digital clock briefly in the screensaver mode but managed to get it back again. To the author, thank you! Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Tidal album art disappeared
Had the same issue, this helped for me: Goto Server Settings, Advanced tab, choose Performance in drop down. Then set ARTWORK RESIZING to "Use mysqueezebox.com to resize artwork" After that it worked for me. I do have an account for that mysqueezebox thing. Good luck, let me know if it worked for you...? Incredible claims about all kinds of things are made every day by knowledgeable people and by those in authority. This thread is almost seven years old and no one to date has demonstrated that any of these add-on devices stand up to scientific scrutiny. I would just buy the bare Pi3, plus a blank microSD card (16Gb) and a power supply if needed. I connect my Pi3 to the router via ethernet cable rather than use WiFi (the built in WiFi is flaky, so you'd need a USB WiFi stick if going down that route). And a bare bones case! I haven't needed any heatsink. The instructions are here: http://picoreplayer.sourceforge.net/main_getting_started.shtml Essentially, download the piCorePlayer image and burn it to the SD card. Stick the SD card in the Pi, and boot it while it is hardwired to your router. Then use the piCorePlayer web interface to set up piCorePlayer. You'll need to expand the filesystem before you install LMS.
