It didn't seem to do too much but the surface kept getting nicer the more i scrubbed it with soft scrub. You don't want it too wet when initially using the soft scrub. It seems to be more effective when the soft scrub is not watered down. I think so. And personally I avoid the word "better" when comparing, because that's not what I actually mean anyway. I might prefer one over the other, but that's a preference, it's not a measured analysis...
