Network issues can be hard to diagnose. First thing, I'd set my wifi channel to something else (1, 6, or 11), reboot my router, and reboot my server. All else fails, figure out a way to get ethernet to your Touch or use Powerline adapters. Touch is natively able to process 24/96 (and can pass up to 24/192 to an external DAC with optional "Enhanced Digital Output" applet). My guess is that a network bottleneck is the source of your issue. Is your Touch wired or wireless? [SlimDevices: Touch] Can Touch play > 24 bit or >44.1 KHz?
Very recently started to use my Touch to stream from LMS (in the past I just used it to listen to internet radio). Rips of CDs work fine, but HD downloads (24 bit, 96Khz) will play for a few seconds, then pause, then play for a few seconds, pause and repeat. Is this normal? I there a setting to tell LMS to down sample the tracks? Thanks!
