headset. I made a call with it, hung up, then turned the headset off.
I noticed this caused the BT indicator icon to invert, which is a nice

Earlier today, a few QA folks tested image krillin rtm 138 plus silo 13,
and found that it fixed the unity8 crash from bug 1382595.
Silo 13 plus silo 10 landed in image 139.
Now, in image 139, unity8 is crashy again. Olli mentioned getting two
crashes within a few minutes,
OK I tried an earlier version of the nvidia drivers - 304.123. p roblem
remains.
I have tried removing the graphics card and reverting to the on board
chip. Problem remains.

Is this headset new? You might have hit an interop issue - if there was
no crash it was probably a kernel panic or something like that. I've
tried disconnecting and reconnecting a number of time with my headset
and there are no issues.

Comment #7 is only valid if you get links created in /tmp. You have to
both remove the executable bit from scp-dbus-service.py and kill the
scp-dbus-service.py process in this case. If this is the case for you,
does printing return to work normally after applying the workaround?

Update: Previously mentioned workaround (comment #13) is not working.
It probably worked a few times by accident. I have lately seen just as
many freezes with manual locking as with timeout locking. I have started
to disable and avoid screen locking as much as possible, but that is of

After a 14.10 install from scratch (no update) with Gnome Shell on Intel 915
graphics (Lenovo S440), I still have the same issue. Most noticeable is the
very slow text editing in gedit.
There is no issue when I use Unity, Gnome Classic or Xfce.

So the way this is *supposed* to work is that bluetooth.target is
activated by udev rules, like those:

Indeed, bluetooth.service does not get started by default any more. This
used to work, but apparently got broken recently. With a manual sudo
systemctl start bluetooth.service I get this back.
