@Victor - which application are you seeing this is an issue?
I just tested N7, removing keyboard works fine for ubuntu apps.
I don't think this is an issue with connecting/disconnecting the keyboard.
This appears to be an issue with puritine apps not being hooked up for OSK to
get triggered.

attempted the restart indicator-bluetooth trick, this didn't help.
I could see the mouse in the list, but never would connect when selecting the
"connect" button.

- - You would observe the phone vibrates while answering the call.
FWIW do we have an idea how this all *should* work?
Having a mouse device in a windowed emulator feels wrong unless we have
the cursor contained/grabbed, otherwise you won't be able to push
against the edges for launcher/spread etc.
IMO by default the device should mimic touch events, with a
