Experiencing the same thing as krupier123 on Ubuntu 14.10. I have tried
all workarounds mentioned here. Reinstalling NetworkManager fixes the
issue for a couple of minutes, then the connection dies again.
Rebooting, suspending, setting managed=true in NetworkManager.conf does
not do anything.

Since system updates on or after Thursday 28th, I have been experiencing
complete system freezes when attempting to do tasks such as opening a
menu or a window. Compiz manages to draw a shadow around the new window,
then everything freezes:
* You can SSH into the machine norm
The fix works fine. Album and Artist thumbnails are being retrieved now
even where there are empty tags. I have checked a few cases where I get
no artwork in Music app, and they all correspond to where the webservice
does not deliver a result.

A little more info, as I've been trying to watch the output of xwininfo
-root -children, as well as xrestop over time.
