When this happens you should actually be able to press Esc to recover
the greeter. You can also press Ctrl+Alt+F1 and log in there, following
by "sudo service lightdm restart", that will restart the display
manager.
That said, can you please clear /var/log/lightdm and ~/.cache/upstart/,
try loggin
Oh and also ~/.xsession-errors might be interesting - delete it as well
before trying to log in a Unity8 session.

The option to share a contact via Messaging from the Contacts app sends
it as an MMS. Another option which simply copies the numbers belonging
to the selected contact to a text field of the Messaging app so that the
user can send the details as an SMS would be useful in cases.
There is a forward option in Contacts app - open a contact, tap share
button (top-right corner), choose Messaging. It sends the contact info
as an MMS. It would be better if it simply copies all the numbers from
the selected contact and send as an SMS. I reported bug #1549452 for
this.

Hi.
My home folders (Documents, Downloads, Pictures and Videos) are symlinks from a
folders with the same name from SD-Card in order to save internal storage.
I made those symlinks with "ln -s -r" through a terminal.
When I try to download a file, directly or just selecting
@btb-bitrate, I'm unable to reproduce the issue. Here, verbose output
works:

"Add Field" string (uppercase) is available in Launchpad, but not "Add
field
content::WebContentsDelegate::RequestToLockMouse(…) and
content::WebContentsDelegate::LostMouseLock() need to be overridden in
oxide::WebView (and ask the user to allow pointer lock), and
oxide::RenderWidgetHostView::LockMouse() and
oxide::RenderWidgetHostView::UnlockMouse() need to be implemented
With a dummy implementation of the above (that silently accepts the
pointer lock requests), I verified that https://mdn.github.io/pointer-
lock-demo/ works.
