Machine used is a PowerMac G5 7,3 with an AGP Radeon 9600 Pro (Mac
edition). Running Compton composting manager (Ubuntu MATE 16.04) and it
runs without glitches so far, colours look good. Only thing I noticed is
Applied against Debian 11.1.3-1. 3-D acceleration at depth=24 works.
Power consumption running foobillardplus is very high. Colors at the
Cairo Dock are looking pastel shaded.

When I detect the hands free blue tooth generic comf_comp V12b and enter pin it
connects great.
After turning off the car and reentering, the Nexus4 dual boot touch reboots
into Android when it automatically tries to reconnect to the hands free unit.

unlock LUKS root filesystem. Until 14.04 it was no problem to depend on
existence of ${DESTDIR}/root for writing files, e.g. ssh public keys,
scripts etc. From 16.04 a random home dir for root is used.
It sounds like there could be support for the W3C push API in the future. This
would have a much better chance of getting email servers to support push
notifications. This would allow push notifications to be supported cross
platform, including both mobile devices and desktop browsers.

It is by design that user can launch and reorder apps in the launcher
and access indicator menus even if the device is locked. For those users
who are concerned about their privacy and security there are settings in

They are forcing their own DNSes which recolve anything unresolveable as that
IP.
If I change my NM connection and force other DNSes than theirs, then everything

If I click in a diolog box in Libreoffice, I get a black dialog screen flashing
followed by a crash. It goes back to the logon screen within a few seconds.

plenty of backported fixes from Qt 5.6 branch in our 16.04's Qt 5.5.
Sadly they don't fix all issues still.
The next upload is already being prepared and is at

errors:

* Cherry-pick upstream fix to publish global session variable changes to

Dekko will have POP3 support from the next update. So we will need to
provide notification support for that as well.
I'm still not convinced that a polld plugin is the correct approach for
this, it doesn't feel like it's going to scale well. I plan to add
