I have this problem with Ubuntu 18.04, 18.10 and Linux Mint 19, on 2 computers :
HP Pavilion dv6700 and Acer Extensa 5620Z, both with a Realtek ALC268 chipset.
Audio is working but not internal microphone (and on HP Pavilion, external
microphone doesn't work too).

When I trying to start this application, the whole GUI is just freezing for
minutes.
After that application just stops with an error message or application started
up, but the window could not loaded correctly, the window just full with
squares.
Environment
Seems like Bluez 5.50 fixes the issue, tried re-repairing BT mouse 5
times and it seems to work so far.
I guess this commit fixes the issue:

Was your /tmp filesystem full at the time of the problem maybe?
Marking invalid for chromium-browser, as it's unlikely it's a problem in
chromium itself (besides the actual crash that you were trying to
report, but without an actual core dump we can't do anything about that
one, unfortunately).
