restarting the VM:

Desktop freezing while SSD under heavy load

Every time my SSD is under heavy writing load (e.g. copying large files
from a USB stick, or downloading an ISO from a fast website), the entire
Ubuntu (Gnome) desktop, including mouse pointer, freezes.
My computer is an Asus UX410UAK with a Micron 1100
Thank you for using Ubuntu and reporting a bug.
Please note that 'sudo ufw disable' will flush the ufw chains and make
them all 'pass through' (ie, think of them as NOPs) until reboot. On
reboot, ufw won't run and even the pass through chains won't be added.
Furthermore, unless MANAGE_BUILTINS
I was looking at the wrong beast.
Upgrading kernel solved the problem.

become Ubuntu 20.04. I have plans to SRU those changes to other stable

I have the same problems as described in this bug. Every time I print
something cupsd crashes with core dump and cups-browsed also crashes. My
printer is a Samsung CLX 6260 Series. I can successfully print one job,
then get the crash, then have to wait some minutes before the services

For sure I thought this was a bug because it appeared platform dependent
and only associated with nano.
The first thing I did was I checked my version of PuTTy which was .70
