when I ask for non-existing domain, systemd-resolved replies with
SERVFAIL. I believe that correct answer should be NXDOMAIN (this is
reply from public DNS servers, like 1.1.1.1, 8.8.8.8, 9.9.9.9 and
others).

I tried this by 20.04, but could not get sound via HDMI cable work,
except once, even if I had sample rate 44100 set in daemon.conf. I
wonder what is wrong. TV tells: "unknown audio signal, check the
source."
