This is a longstanding bug in our font stack. Things can go very bad
when a font in use is upgraded.

It's not been noticed more recently because the Ubuntu font hasn't been
updated in a while. (And there is no longer an Ubuntu GNOME shipping
I'm attaching a screenshot from an upgrade I did from Lunar to Mantic on
July 18.

I was upgrading from Lunar to Mantic the other day and left a couple of
applications open during the upgrade process. During the upgrade the
text in audacious became unreadable (I'll attach a screenshot) and I
seem to recall the title bar of Firefox being unreadable but the
very very annoying bug !
I don't have zoom, but I often have discord and slack opened.

We will use a PPA for adding Pipewire to Ubuntu 20.04, which is

Same keyboard here with an MX Master mouse. Both devices (and some other
bluetooth devices iiuc) do not indicate a class in
`/var/lib/bluetooth/*/*/info`.
