Public bug reported:
When installing a package with 'apt install [package name]', I see the deb

However, just after installation, the deb file are deleted from this directory.
I would prefer a deletion after a few days. Sometimes, we

* I switched to lightdm and changed shortcut from ctrl+alt+L to super+L and it
works, hurray! I'm keeping it but meh...

There is no ABI impacting, as it is only internal (communication between the
lib and libc API). libzen API uses 64-bit integers whatever is the presence of
the flag, the flag is only for libc.
And actually, the ABI break would have been seen previously, when the
compilation flag was removed
Fix confirmed by end user to work, also on 16.04, see

FYI impact is on the 32-bit libc usage, _FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 enabling the libc
file API with "off_t" of 64-bit instead of 32-bit.
No other interaction.

SSD aren't mandatory.

After making my system work again, which took a while since most live
media and even the installer don't support LVM cache, I had it working
for writeback on my system with the following.
/etc/initramfs-tools/hooks/lvm2_cache

#!/bin/sh
PREREQ="lvm2"
prereqs()
{
echo "$PREREQ"
}
case $1
The package that was submitted to xenial-proposed fixes the problem on
my computer, machinectl start and virsh start can now
be run without removing systemd-nspawn.

After the fresh install, I properly saw the boot progress with the
plymouth Xubuntu theme up to a step where the screen has no more the
progress image but a odd screen content which doesn't represent anything

Next, I could get a virtual console (tty1)
I disagree, the bug shown in the link gives a ps output when the
problem is present and show no excessive CPU usage while this bug has
gvfs stuck in a tight loop somewhere, my backtrace was snapshot when
this 100% CPU usage pattern was present, other comments in the bug have
the same outcome.
