It seems be related to a test failure that puts the fake keyboard into a
bad state. The only way to fix that state is by restarting unity8. I'm
not sure what that has to do with unity8, but somehow restarting it

install when you the install button is clicked.

System settings only provides UI for enabling/disabling of the SIM pin
and changing the PIN. I think entering the PIN after boot is handled by
