I got this error to go away by changing my selection from "Send report automatically" to "Show dialog for each error before reporting" and rebooting". When I checked the logs, the error was not there. If I revert to "... automatically" and reboot I can get the error to appear again. Shouldn't

Thanks. That appeared to work. While running sudo apt install --reinstall hplip hplip-data I got the following error. W: APT had planned for dpkg to do more than it reported back (19 vs 23). Affected packages: python3:amd64 but I went ahead and did the last command and now apt upgrade
