Public bug reported: Quite often, when "opening" the laptop after it has been "closed" for a while, the display is completely messed up, i.e. most characters are corrupted with alien-like characters. Attached is an explicit screenshot of Thunderbird tabs (the first tab should read "Courrier entrant", the second line "Relever ; Écrire ; ? ; Adresses ; Étiquettes ; Filtre rapide", etc.), but most applications (Firefox, gnome-terminal, LibreOffice, Gnumeric, windows titles and menus, right-click menus, etc.) are affected. Some of these issues (e.g. tabs) can be fixed by hovering them with the cursor, but not all.
