Thanks, uninstalling libcanberra-gtk-3-0 helped with this. (I'd only
installed it way back in the distant past to stop those stupid warnings
on the command line!)

There's no package "isc-dhcp" - shouldn't this be fixed in the package
isc-dhcp-client? I am still affected by this bug.

I did not have to create the symlink, but once I separated my
/etc/network/interfaces into 3 separate files in
/etc/network/interfaces.d (along with an /etc/network/interfaces that
sourced them) my bridge in
