Title:
  Canon i550 printer doesn't print black (CUPS+Gutenprint)

Status in “cups” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
Since I had to reinstall my Canon i550 printer, the printer refuses to
print black. I've tracked the source of the problem down to the
printer-driver, since with Windows, the printer works fine, and if I
switch to the driver for i560, it also prints black (but isn't usable
because the result is distorted). Even when printing from another
(Windows-)PC via network, the printer works fine.

  I'm using:
  - CUPS + Gutenprint v5.2.8-pre1
  - Kubuntu 12.04 (64-bit)
