Folder icons in the places-menu and the gtk file-selector

Bug description:
With nautilus, you can add small emblems to files and folders.
These are pretty and helpful to explain the files and folders functions.
The places-menu is really great in speeding up navigating the spatial world.
However, it looks dull with a lot of grey/beige folder-icons.

Maybe if a folder, added to the places-menu or displayed in the gtk file
selector, had an specified emblem, the emblem could be displayed instead of
the
  rather boring folder-icon?

Thanks for such a great distribution!
