* Remove cross fade effect during lock/unlocking. A simple fading
works just fine. (LP: #1312107)
* Manually emit
I verified this by using gnome-tweak-tool to remap the Escape key as
Caps Lock. When I lock the screen and then hit Escape, the warning icon
pops up.
