better. In order to see if this is resolved in a later version of
Ubuntu, could you please test http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-
live/current/ (live environment is fine) and advise if this is
reproducible?

Both of the laptops I tested are Thinkpad T500. I can do tests on other
machines if needed.
