For sharing files over bluetooth you're using the OPP profile. See https://git.kernel.org/cgit/bluetooth/bluez.git/tree/doc/obex-api.txt for API details. I know there was some work going on to implement this but it wasn't continued as we're currently migrating from BlueZ 4 to BlueZ 5. -- You
