Public bug reported:

Computer speakers are not being recognized in sound settings. As long
as nothing else is plugged in, I still get sound through the speakers,
but they are not shown under "Output" in sound settings. In fact,
nothing is shown under Output, but the speakers will play sound just
fine.

When I plug in my USB Yeti microphone (which has a headphone jack), it
shows up under "Output" in sound settings and I cannot get sound to come
through the speakers.
