The bug is indeed in the Loader of
/usr/share/accounts/qml-plugins/ubuntuone/Main.qml
To fix this bug, edit that file and:
1) remove the "sourceComponent:" line
2) remove the outer condition from the "source:" like, so that it looks like
this:
source: account.accountId != 0 ?
