@robert-ancell Go on, give us a clue. Who _should_ we report this to?
We've gotten so far as to figure out WHY volume mutes when the screen
locks, which is frankly killer for any RT AV work, and now I'm lost in
the maze of twisty microservices, all alike.
I'm just a user here, yet I've diagnosed
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to lightdm in Ubuntu.
This would need to be fixed in the appropriate greeter - LightDM does
not write any files in /home/lightdm.
