Such 'problem' is expected, as the keyboard settings can be changed vie the System Settings, not via the app directly (that's the way object's OS works)

My password is set in English. I wanted to install an update of a software (Atom) through gdebi. Because my keyboard was set on Hebrew, once the password pop up came on the screen, I could only type letters in Hebrew, there was no way to click on anything, or use the keyboard shortcut - to switch the keyboard back to English. I had to exit gdebi, switch the keyboard to English, and then run the update again, so I can finally type the password in English.
