Public bug reported: Steps to reproduce issue:
1) Connect the client with DP-DP 2) Login 3) Navigate to settings>Display 4) Select rotation as left (OR) right (OR) upside-down and apply 5) Try to perform any operation (Try to drag any UI window and observe the behavior ) Actual Results: UI window getting sliced when trying to perform any operation. Expected Results: Should not get any distortion or slicing when trying to perform any operation. Additional info: Primary screen: Dell P2317H Secondary screen: Viewsonic VX245MH I can indeed see a kind of diagonal tearing when one of the screens is rotated or inverted. See attached video showing how dragging a window back and forth on the secondary screen shows this. ** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1771747 Title: On left/right/Upside-down rotations, UI window getting sliced when trying to perform any operation Status in xorg package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Steps to reproduce issue: 1) Connect the client with DP-DP 2) Login 3) Navigate to settings>Display 4) Select rotation as left (OR) right (OR) upside-down and apply 5) Try to perform any operation (Try to drag any UI window and observe the behavior ) Actual Results: UI window getting sliced when trying to perform any operation.
