Public bug reported:

After installing an update (i can't remember which), i stopped hearing
sound from the system. It only showed that headphones were
connected(though they weren't), but even if i connected them, i could
still hear no sound. I installed PulseAudio, tried changing other
things, but nothing worked. I remember typing a command, though i cannot
remember it, and it doesn't appear in my terminal history(i think it is
in the bug description), and after that the sound appears to be playing
from "HDMI/DisplayPort".
