I'm admin, yes. `groups` gives me: facundo adm cdrom sudo dip plugdev
lpadmin lxd sambashare
I did not try to activate any specific connection: it's just NM trying
to connect to one of its saved WiFis when starting the session.
I don't have gnome to try it.

Data point: after several attempts in error, it ended up connecting to
WiFi... maybe the other connection in the other session did some kind of
timeout?

output of the 'groups' command)?
Which type of connection did you try to activate and how? could you try
if you get the same issue under GNOME?
