Public bug reported: Shortly after upgrading from Jammy to Kinetic my laptop went to sleep after I was idle for 20 minutes, as it is configured to do. The lid was closed when the laptop went to sleep. I was unable to wake up the laptop. Opening the lid back up should have caused it to wake up but did not. Pressing the power button should have caused it to wake up but did not.
Both the LED on the lid and the power button light were cycling on and off as they do when the laptop is sleeping. I had to hold down the power button for five seconds to power off the laptop completely and then power it back on to get it to come back up. Never saw this behavior even once with Jammy. After rebooting and logging in, I put the laptop to sleep by selecting Suspend from the menu, and after _that_ it woke up immediately when I pushed the power button. I am not sure yet how reproducible this is, but I thought that even a single incidence of something like this was worth reporting.
