Just to update on this, the new patch to use generic plugin by default
(which many tests assume) and only disable it via environment variable
made it possible to keep tests enabled. The last upstream commit related
to fixing this bug was also merged to Qt 5.5. Silo 032 is updated for
the backports

Exactly my usecase. I'm making a nagging reminders app, that will nag
you more and more frequently till you complete a task.

It did freeze on both 304 and 340 drivers. I was able to reproduce it by
simple playing youtube video (HTML5 player ). It did then freeze in
between 10-30min.
I have uninstalled Chromium a started to use Firefox instead. So far it
is more stable and did not freeze after about 2h of playing

We need unity8 to proxy the screen request to u-s-c on behalf of the
app, clearing it when the requesting app goes out of focus/view.
Webbrowser app still needs investigation as it should behave correctly
here, but it might not get enough time to release the screen lock.
