Do you realize the possible consequences of not being able to turn the
screen on?
You may suspend with a screen connected, disconnect it, take the laptop
away, resume from suspend where you don't have a screen available, and
you would be unable to save your work!

"enabled" means, that if you plugin an USB dongle (and NetworkManager has a
matching connection that is configured to "autoconnect"), that NM will
automatically connect the newly plugged in device.
"disabled" means it will not.

What we roughly need in Mir is to extend MirSurfaceState enum with a
value of e.g. "mir_surface_state_automatic" which will be then later
resolved by Unity8 to either fullscreen or to windowed based on the

[15.10 REGRESSION] Builtin laptop display doesn't

Having been hit by bug #1535452 (please see the description), I went
back to Display settings and I tried to manually turn on the laptop's
builtin display that I had previously turned off (obviously did this
while the external monitor was connected). When I clicked on the
I kind of disagree. I would blame the UI for assuming that the message it wants
to tell to the user fits in that small space. From the translator's point of
view, it's wrong to lose part of the message.
I would say that the right widget for this is not a button.
