To the developers of sbuild: If sbuild is used on a desktop machine
(which is running CUPS) and the package built inside sbuild has a
"BuildRequires: cups-daemon" making another instance of CUPS running in
sbuild's chroot, could this lead to conflicts like both CUPS daemons
claiming port 631 and so

Not completely sure where this bug lies.
This was an area of "this should just work" in theory.
We did perform some investigation using notification but it's not clear if the
msg is somehow getting lost on in dbus or if unity8 is somehow
rejecting/ignoring.

If I reduce the mic volume, the problem is the same. It is worse when using

ntpdate-debian not work
I don't know how this was lost in between Debian versions, but it happened.
Since Ubuntu already merged the latest ntp we have to push that as delta for
now - the respective debian bug is already updated.
I have prepped a fix for yakkety (which will should eventually also go via SRU
into Xenial)
Thank you for reporting this, I'm not sure whether or not that traceback
is benign. We'll have to hear from Barry/a S-I maintainer to know for
sure.

I saw this bug in Kate and in Gwenview (and probably other KDE apps). Most
buttons had no icons at all for me. I had used Menta from MATE as icon theme.
The last comment fixed it. Particularly, selecting "Oxygen" as theme in "KDE
system settings" (step 3 above) helped.

there was a lot of work on many bugs going on which conflicted with this one.
Many where driven to debian and included in the last merge for yakkety and
discussed one-by-one if they qualify for a Xenial backport.
This bug seems to have been forgotten in that discussion.
