I have moved the debdiff into bug 1582213, which seems to be a more
sure-fire-definitely-fixed bug when compared to this more vague ongoing
issue.
** Patch removed: "xenial-a2dp-fixes-may2017.debdiff"
Attached debdiff for updating xenial to pulseaudio 1:8.0-0ubuntu3.3, in
order to address a few problems with Bluetooth audio (A2DP).
** Patch added: "xenial-a2dp-fixes-may2017.debdiff"
An exception for linux-image-extra packages can be added in
/etc/kernel/postinst.d/update-notifier and in /etc/kernel/postinst.d
/unattended-upgrades
** Attachment added: "code to add before touching /var/run/reboot-required in
post-installation scripts"
The update that was released was for bug 1668813 and certainly does not
affect installation of the package as it only changes a man-page.
Maybe iproute2 has issues upgrading in general yet since it is not updated so
often we don't see it?
Since I could not reproduce for now I hope that the
I had an image round with the older iproute2 4.3.0-1ubuntu3, so I tried
an update but it worked just fine. There must be something special to
the reported cases that makes them fail.
apt install iproute2

I reproduced the same defect on Artful. Also while installing updates
the libpam-systemd also failed to install with a similar trace.

Hi,
Please share if the fix suggested by Seth helped you to resolve your half
configured package.
Until then I set the status to incomplete, please set it back to new if the
problem persists.
