In Regards to mpv:
While vaapi has now been enabled please note that in a 'wayland' session mpv
will not work properly with vaapi from the nautilus context menu. Only audio
will work, no video.
The issue seems to be --player-operation-mode=pseudo-gui
Not sure what you all can do about this..
Please ignore above comment, my bad.
(- to save some time on fresh install of 17.10 I copied mpv.conf from 16.04
It has an autofit-larger option for the psuedo-gui that isn't compatible with
wayland.

Hi,
The "0701-bluetooth-bluez5-wait-for-all-profiles-to-connect.patch" which
you picked from the upstream has a bug and it has been already fixed at
mainline by the same author.
Please pick below patch to address this problem.
Public bug reported:
Driverless printing works perfectly in Ubuntu 17.04 with my Epson WF 3620.
Scanning is also perfect.
I have 17.10 on another SSD and driverless printing was working but recent
updates have broken this. I reinstalled from the Aug 14th daily build and have
updated it daily
Public bug reported:
>From settings I open Printers and click on settings (gear icon) for my
printer which bring up a pop-up with printer details (name , location,
address, etc). There is no way to close this pop-up. Instead of a top
toolbar there is thin dark line. The pop-up cannot be moved.

Hi,
You picked wrong patch for "bluetooth: Add optional heuristic for switching
between hsp and a2dp profiles"[1]
Originally, it was written without "bluetooth-policy: do A2DP profile restoring
a bit later"[2] and it was overwritten the [2] code. Please see the patch order
and patch result.

this is finally fixed in 17.04

My understanding is that the Ubuntu Desktop team agreed a few months ago
to drop UOA.
We dropped UOA support from Empathy, Evolution Data Server, Shotwell,
and the Unity lenses.
