1920x1080 resolution instead of the full 2560x1440. If extra pixels are
configured, they fall off the right side or bottom of the display and

Made a little progress: headphones work with
/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf:
options snd-hda-intel model=mono-speakers
Volume is loud and clear, in stereo!
alsa-info.sh output is attached with coefficients. Headphones were not
plugged in at that time to keep the diffs to a minimum.

OK, so my kernel didn't have seccomp support compiled in and systemd
just silently fails to set seccomp filters in that case.
Have now reproduced the bug on an armhf disco VM, and verified that the
