I tried to install LTS 20.04 on a machine (e5-2670 powered) which had
drives (Crucial 500GB SATA, HGST 2GB rotating) formatted for a pfSense
(FreeBSD) test. Install failed to probe for disks multiple times. dd'ing
zeros over the front part of thedrives allowed installation
What about static ipv6? does that make sense? Because i think at least
IBM has asked to support this before.

With Focal Fossa, both audio and mic worked properly until a few days ago.

I am using KODI on Ubuntu and every Video stream I use is hanging after
around 10 seconds. Ubuntu is setup on a Proxmox VM and the GPU is passed
through. I tried to reinstall the driver without any effect. Network
connection is a 50MBit/s line, so should not be the issue.

Well, similar experience for me today, booted and logged in okay, but
then the desktop session died leaving monitor backlight and keyboard
lights on, but no other sign of life. Shutting lid to suspend then

A decade later, found the same bug in grub.
It might not affect "standard" grub usage (e.g. Ubuntu) where it may not
need to probe and guess filesystem type just to boot the system, but
